What is automatic link replacement?
Automatic link replacement is the process of automatically converting links on your site to Linkly links using Linkly's JavaScript snippet.
This is useful when:
- You have many links across a website, and replacing them would be laborious.
- You want to temporarily replace a link as part of an experiment.
How to Use Automatic Link Replacement
Click Create New Link from the menu.
Give the link a Nickname, Destination and any other link parameters you would like to use.
Click on Automatic Link Replacements.
Make sure the Linkly JavaScript tags are installed on your site.
Receive your workspace's personalized tag and installation instructions by clicking Linkly JavaScript tags.
In the URL List box, paste the exact URL of the links you want to replace.
Add one URL per line.
Click Save Link.
Visit your website to confirm these links have become Linkly links.
